Everyone is welcome to practice at Kannon Do. All activities are open to
anyone, with no requirement of membership. However, Kannon Do's ongoing
operation and support of your practice are only possible through your
donations. If you wish to make a donation, you can leave cash or a check
in the donation box in front of the bulletin board, mail a check to
Kannon Do, or donate via PayPal using the button below. The button will
take you to PayPal's secure website.
Becoming a Member
There are two kinds of membership at Kannon Do:
Signatory
By signing the Membership Book on the altar, you indicate your sense of
belonging to Kannon Do and an affinity with its practice. Any member of
Kannon Do will be happy to assist and witness your signing.
Voting
If you wish to support and strengthen the activities of Kannon Do
through regular financial contribution, you may become a Voting Member
by signing the Membership Book and contributing $30.00/month dues,
either cash or check, in the appropriate contribution box. Dues do not
have to be donated monthly; they can be a one-time, if that is more
convenient. As a voting member, you will be able to vote in the yearly
or other special elections for Kannon Do officers and actions. Be sure
to mark your contribution as dues. In cases of hardship and special
circumstance, the Board may waive the monthly dues, or arrange for
payment in kind.
You may also set up recurring membership payments online using the button below, which will take you to PayPal's secure website.
If you previously set up a
recurring payment via the above button, but wish to stop those payments,
you may use the button below.
